Symington Family Estates are the world’s leading producers of premium quality Port. Aptly described by The Sotheby's Wine Encyclopedia as a “Port Empire”, they boast ownership of some of the world’s most famous port houses: Graham's, Warre's, Dow's and Cockburn's to name but a few, with combined sales accounting for 33% of all the premium Port sold throughout the world.
The only major British Port company to be entirely owned and managed by one family - an unparalleled tradition in the Port trade - their establishment dates back to 1882, today run by the fourth and fifth generations. With 26 Quintas in the Douro Valley now under their ownership, they cover a staggering total 2,255 hectares, leading innovation in the fields of viticulture and winemaking.
This Monday, we are incredibly fortunate to be welcoming Mr. Henry Bennett, who will be taking us through a range of these exceptional Ports. We look forward to seeing you there to round off a wonderful term.

DRESSCODE :
Gentlemen are required to wear:
A tie and fully button-fronted shirt, fastened at the collar.
Ladies are required to wear:
Any of the following equivalent smart dress: Blouse and smart trousers/skirts, shirts, dresses or formal jumpsuits.
The following items are forbidden:
Denim, sweatpants, cargo pants, sports apparel, and trainers.
Admission to our events is conditional on adherence at request of our venue.
If you are unable to attend, you must contact us via email president@ouws.co.uk or via direct message on our Instagram @oxford_uni_wine by 18:00 at latest so that your ticket can be redistributed. Upon failure to notify us, you will be rendered unable to purchase tickets for the remainder of the term.
