‘Supermarket vs Specialist: Taste the Difference?’ (Freshers Only)
Tickets On Sale Tonight at 18:00 for ‘Supermarket vs Specialist: Taste the Difference?’ (Freshers Only)
At last, a tasting fit for the student! This week we’ll be setting aside some of the splendour you’ve come to expect from Bacchus and turning instead to a most noble pursuit: the finest wines that (not a great deal of) money can buy.
Leading us on Monday will be our very own Senior Member, Fr Phil Moller, who will preside over the great debate of our age: supermarket or merchant? We have all found ourselves roaming Magdalen Street deep into the night, searching in despair for the right bottle to bring to the next crewie. Yet how many of us have stopped to ask whether we’re really making the best choice? Might we find better value with the experts of Turl Street for our next piss-up?
Join us this Monday as we attempt to answer these burning questions, and hopefully have a little fun along the way, across an array of (yes, you read that correctly) twelve different wines. Let’s just hope we all find our way home!
