As the buzz of first week dies down and the cold dawn of essays, tutorials and lectures begins to break, we are sure that many of you may be searching for some form of reprieve… fortunately we have just the thing to offer.
After a thoroughly enjoyable ‘Introduction to White’ last week, it is now only fair that our reds receive the same treatment. Thus, in true Bacchus tradition, this week’s tasting will see us tackling the fundamentals of red wine.
Join us as we bounce around the globe, sharing more wines that we love, and perhaps a couple that we love to hate… Expect everything from bubbles to classic old world blends, new world heavy hitters to fortified delights - there truly is something for everyone.
We are looking forward to welcoming any and all freshers to the university to discover all things red, and the foundations of tasting wine - we hope you can join us!
