France, Off the Beaten Track
French wines are by no means a novelty at Bacchus. But how much of France do we truly get to see? This is the question posed this week by esteemed President Emeritus Max Yuen.
France and wine are without a doubt inextricably linked, boasting claim to some of the world’s most iconic regions - Champagne, Bordeaux and Burgundy, to name but a few. But with over 4 billion hectolitres produced every year, spread across the length and breadth of the country, what must we be missing?
Following the roaring success that was his ‘Classic French’ wines back in the Trinity of 2024, this imbalance remains to be redressed by Max at Bacchus - fortunately for all of us, the time has finally come. Join us on Monday as we place ourselves in the very capable hands of one of our favourite alumni, and are guided through a full range of what this wonderful country has to offer.
Nous avons hâte de vous y voir tous!
