Cheap vs Expensive (Freshers Only)

£14.00
sold out

Fun fact: On the Tesco website, Zesty White contains two allergens: 'sulphur dioxide' and "milk'.

In great Bacchus tradition, this first tasting of Hilary Term is granted to our freshers, as a remedy to the horrors of that first Oxford collection experience. We thus invite any first year students to join us on Monday for the return of ‘Cheap vs Expensive’, which, as the name suggests, will see us take you through the full spectrum: crewdate-budget, to premium. We endeavour to answer all your burning questions about wine, whilst providing you with some great (and some potentially less great) value for money options, as well as the opportunity to try some delicious, slightly more costly bottles.

For those of you who haven’t been before, we look forward to welcoming you for the first time! These beginner events are an informal way to learn more about wine and meet new people. No prior knowledge of wine is required, but hopefully you will have picked some up by the time you leave - unless the wine hits a little harder than expected…
